We are the Soiseth family. I am Jana, a former travel agent and now a travel consultant. We are from Minnesota, but spend our free time in Costa Rica. We’ve done all of the research on traveling and moving to this beautiful country. We’ve spent time in many of the small towns walked on the pristine beaches and eaten at a number of fabulous restaurants. When we were planning our first trip to Costa Rica, we had trouble finding all of the information we needed and when we decided to plan a move, it was even more discouraging. This is the reason for this website and blog. We want to put it all in one place to help others create a dream vacation or a beautiful life in one of the most amazing places on earth. Pura Vida!
Pura Vida: means “pure life”, but in Costa Rica it’s also a way to say hello, good bye, thank you, you’re welcome and so much more. It is a way of life in Costa Rica. More than a couple of words; more like a state of being. Relaxed, fullfilled, happy and in no hurry. Pura Vida!
